Develop detailed data migration plans, including data mapping, data cleansing, transformation, and validation strategies. Analyze source data from various systems to assess data quality, completeness, and suitability for migration Identify and address data issues and anomalies, collaborating with data owners and subject matter experts as needed Design and implement data transformation processes using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and techniques Develop scripts and queries to extract data from source systems, apply necessary transformations, and load it into the target system. Identify and resolve data discrepancies and ensure data consistency across systems. Provide regular status updates and reports on data migration progress to project stakeholders Ensure compliance with data governance policies and data security standards during the migration process Protect sensitive data and maintain data privacy throughout the migration Work closely with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, developers, and business users, to coordinate data migration activities.
